Support Our Mission

Bridge to Mobility is working to make communities across the country stronger. We are at the heart of the entire mobility industry, helping people with disabilities pursue employment, go back to school, and travel safely to medical appointments.

Help us continue our mission-driven work to give individuals with disabilities the access they critically need to wheelchair accessible vehicles. As we work together, we can build more accessible communities—and truly change lives.

Year-end giving strategies that maximize impact & minimize taxes:

1. IRA – If you’re 70 1/2 years or older, you can make a qualified charitable donation (QCD) of up to $105,000 directly from your traditional IRA without adding a penny to your taxable income. For most people aged 73 or older, this also counts toward your required minimum distribution (check with your financial advisor to confirm).
2. Appreciated assets – Receive a charitable income tax deduction, and you will likely avoid capital gains tax, too.
3. Donor advised fund (DAF) – Funds are already set aside for your select charities, so you can give without touching your ready capital.
4. Cash gift – Any generous donation you give, when dated and postmarked or given online by midnight December 31, may apply toward this year’s taxes.

Bridge to Mobility accepts all major credit cards.

We awarded a grant to Ainsley, who at age 14 was playing hide and seek with her brother and fell from a tree, instantly becoming a quadriplegic. Today, Ainsley is a top academic student, volunteers with Spinal Cord Injury BC, and is a Youth Ambassador for the Rick Hansen Foundation. She would like to attend University with the goal of becoming a lawyer. We’re glad to help Ainsley stay mobile so she can follow her dreams!
